Privacy statement

Doijer & Kalff was founded in 1825 as a small and independent bank. Its core values have remained unchanged since that time. Doijer & Kalff was continued by a group of private investors in 2010, with respect for the cautious banking mentality of the past and established DKgold as our international branch.

DKgold respects and protects the privacy of all involved individuals and organisations. This page contains information on how we manage and process data in accordance with the guidelines of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Why do we collect personal data?

We collect personal data through DKgold account. These personal data include initials, first name(s), last name, address, place of residence, telephone number, email address and a bank account number and are entered by the Account Holder themselves. From corporate clients, in addition to the data mentioned above, the company name and details of authorisations are also obtained via the Chamber of Commerce.

These data are used to best serve our Account Holders.

How do we collect and process personal data?

We process and collect data when an account is created and when the Account Holder executes procurement or sell orders. In addition to this form of data collection, there is regular email or telephone contact between the Account Holder and DKgold. These data may also be processed for the purpose of providing email, CMS and email marketing system services. Processing means recording, storing, erasing, modifying, transferring and accessing data.

DKgold website uses only analytical and functional cookies. Google Analytics is also used to help us track website findability and usage. Visitor data are displayed anonymously. The account settings are such that Google does not share any obtained data.

Sharing of personal data

Only persons who need to access personal data provided to us by Account Holders can access such data when performing their duties.

Retention of personal data

DKgold retains your personal data for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which they were collected and complies with applicable laws and regulations in this regard. You have the right to ask us to view, modify or delete the data. To do so, please send an email to support@dkgold.com, contact us via the website or by telephone.

Data breach notification

Should personal data fall into the hands of third parties who should not have access to that data, a notification will be made to the Dutch Data Protection Authority within 72 hours. All breaches, potential consequences and actions taken are documented.
